Natural and organic products are extremely popular with today’s parents. This trend is also reflected in the hygiene and care sector. Thus, one finds sustainable and pollutant-free products more and more frequently among the collections of the baby and toddler’s outfitters. For example, the focus lies on the special needs of sensitive baby skin. In order to avoid skin irritations, dryness and health risks, in the meantime many products are free from harsh chemicals. Beyond this the manufacturer Aleva Naturals from Canada relies for example on natural, eco-friendly substances such as eucalyptus and lavender oil. The Dutch manufacturer NAÏF also places special value on natural ingredients. Dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic and pH-neutral, the products are especially aligned for babies and children.

Comfort and safety in addition to the highest quality

Besides sustainability and pollutant-free products, parents also want to grant their children comfort and safety. A trendy design with modern colours is also a must. The manufacturers are particularly offering new products for baths and showers. Bathing babies is a challenge for many parents especially at the beginning. In order to make the bathing experience as pleasant and safe as possible for parents and children, the product ranges include numerous baths, bath seats and bath rings. Early childhood development

Early childhood development is a further trend in the hygiene sector. In order to get children off to an optimal start regarding their teeth development, more and more products support the development of the teeth and jaw. For example, patented wings on the teat or valves on the bottles and cups prevent jaw misalignments. In the case of teats, the trend is moving towards silicon instead of latex and teething rings help the babies when they are teething.
